Pappy’s Lemon Pepper Parmesan Asparagus

This is an easy and delicious, fresh side dish that is ready quickly and pairs well with any main meat dish or as an addition to a veggie bowl or quiche add-in. 


Serves: 4 people
Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1lb fresh asparagus with the ends snapped off

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 ½ teaspoon Pappy’s Lemon Pepper Seasoning (to taste) 

  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese (you can add more depending on how cheesy you like it)

Instructions

  • Spread the asparagus, evenly, in a single layer on a large sheet pan.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the oil and garlic until evenly combined.  Pour the mixture evenly out over the asparagus. Using your hands, toss the asparagus just until completely coated.  Spread back out into an even single layer.  

  • Liberally sprinkle the asparagus with Pappy’s Lemon Pepper 

  • Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, or until the asparagus has become tender (this will depend on the thickness of the asparagus).  

  • Carefully take the pan from the oven, sprinkle the cheese evenly out over the asparagus.  Return to the oven, baking an extra 2 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted.
