Pappy’s Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce Crock Pot Pulled Chicken

This slow cooker pulled BBQ chicken is the easiest of all work night dinners with and endless amount of ways to serve. This makes a delicious base for tacos, sandwiches, nacho topping, and anything else you can think of with only three ingredients and endless possibilities. Feel free to substitute pork shoulder or a tri-tip roast and any of our amazing sauces for more tasty crock pot dinner possibilities.  


Serves: 8 people
Cook time: 7-8 hours

Ingredients 

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 1 tablespoon Pappy’s Choice Low Salt (Blue Label) 

  • 1 bottle of Pappy’s Sweet and Tangy Barbeque Sauce 


Instructions

  • Place chicken thigh meat in slow cooker and sprinkle with Pappy’s Blue Label Seasoning

  • Pour in Pappy’s Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sauce, give it a quick stir to combine and cover.  

  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4.  This varies depending on your slow cooker heat. 

  • Once finished, shred chicken with two forks 

  • Depending on how you will use it you can either add more sauce or drain the sauce to your taste
