Pappy’s Buffalo Skillet Chicken 

Buffalo Sauce isn’t just for wings! Up your weeknight chicken dinner game with this delicious spicy recipe. Pappy’s Prime Rib Rub isn’t just for Prime Ribs as this recipe will show. 


Serves: 4 people
Cook time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil 

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (use ones that are thin or increase the cooking time)

  • 1 teaspoon (or to taste) Pappy’s Prime Rib Rub 

  • 2 tablespoons of butter 

  • 2 cloves of minced garlic

  • 1 bottle Pappy’s Buffalo Sauce

  • 8 slices of muenster cheese

Instructions

  • Fresh chopped chives for garnish 

  • Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat.  Lightly season both sides of chicken with Pappy’s Prime Rib Rub. 

  • Add chicken to pan and cook until golden about 6 minutes a side.  Transfer chicken to a plate. 

  • To skillet, add butter melt and stir into chicken juices.  Add minced garlic and cook for 1minute stirring into the pan juices. Add buffalo sauce to pan stir and heat through. 

  • Return chicken to pan and top each breast with 2 slices of muenster.  Spoon sauce over chicken and cover with lid to let it melt.  

  • Simmer chicken in sauce and cheese until cooked through, about 3 minutes depending on the thickness of chicken. 

  • Garnish with fresh chopped chives and serve
